Lendermarket Welcomes OK Credit: Consumer and Secured Lending from Moldova

We are pleased to announce the launch of O.C.N. "OK Credit" S.R.L. ("OK Credit") as a new Loan Originator on the Lendermarket platform. This partnership gives investors exposure to consumer and secured lending in Moldova, originated by a non-banking financial institution that has operated in the market since 2014.

OK Credit combines a physical branch network with electronic verification tools, offering unsecured consumer loans alongside loans secured by movable and immovable property.

About OK Credit

Registered in Chişinău in 2013(state registration number 1013600011979), OK Credit is a licensed non-banking lending organisation regulated by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM), which has supervised the non-bank lending sector since 1 July 2023. The company has grown into a regional lender with branches in Chisinau, Cahul, Drochia, Balti, Edinet and Floresti. It is wholly owned by its CEO and founder, Vadim Prisacari, who has more than two decades of experience in banking and microcredit.

What This Means for Investors

Access to Moldovan consumer and secured lending investment opportunity: exposure to a licensed non-bank lending organisation, regulated by the National Bank of Moldova, with over a decade of operating history and a physical branch network across six locations.

Diversified product range: unsecured consumer loans alongside loans secured by vehicles and real estate, distinct in profile from unsecured-only originators already on the platform.

Investment portfolio diversification possibility: as at mid-2026, OK Credit's portfolio had an average loan size of EUR 583.85 and an average term of 23.2 months (company-reported).

How OK Credit Manages Operational Risks

  • OK Credit's underwriting follows a hybrid model combining expert-led manual review with electronic verification rather than relying on automated scoring alone.
  • Credit committee review with database checks: applications are assessed by a credit committee, with electronic cross-referencing of Moldovan public and private databases covering credit history, employment status, collateral ownership and litigation records.
  • Fixed, standardised lending terms: loan amounts from EUR 50 to EUR 12 500, terms from 90 to 1,800 days, annuity repayment schedule.
  • Structured arrears management: automated SMS reminders and calls from the first day of arrears, direct contact and negotiated repayment plans for arrears of 10 to 30 days, and referral to legal proceedings for arrears beyond 90 days.
